About Us

About Us?

Surviving & Thriving is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to empowering breast cancer survivors, and their families, to thrive. We partner with the community to provide a compassionate network of resources and programs to uplift, support, and promote healing.
At Surviving & Thriving, we seek to connect like-minded breast cancer survivors to rise above breast cancer. We understand that a breast cancer diagnosis can affect the entire family. Therefore, we strive to offer positive initiatives to include supporters and children.
Mission: We empower breast cancer survivors, and their families, to THRIVE through access to community-based programs targeting physical, emotional, and spiritual health.

Surviving & Thriving is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization serving the breast cancer thriver community. We connect like-minded breast cancer survivors and thrivers to empower each other to rise above breast cancer through physical exercise, mentorship, educational programs, and family programs.

Surviving & Thriving activities nurture physical, emotional, and spiritual health. Community-based activities are for those at any stage of breast cancer treatment and recovery who wish to connect with others in a positive, uplifting environment.

At Surviving & Thriving, we believe in the connection between body, mind, and spirit. Good health requires a balance of all three aspects of our nature. Physical exercise, exploring the outdoors, and forming positive relationships support the connection between all three for healing.
We understand that a breast cancer diagnosis can affect all family members and that women are diagnosed earlier in life than ever before. They are mothers, breadwinners, aunts, and caregivers. We hope that with generous donations and grants, we can offer positive initiatives to support the children and grandchildren of breast cancer survivors in the short future.
